    Name: Allergy-Free Easter Egg Hunt
    Date: April 15, 2017
    Time: 10:15 AM - 11:15 AM EDT
    Event Description:
Allergy-Free, Non-Food Easter Egg Hunt brought to you by The OddFellows of Petoskey & Petoskey District Library.  Ages 0 – 12.  Free Books & Prizes!

Hop to it! Prizes, books, eggs, and fun!  With generous support from the OddFellows, the Petoskey District Library will hold an indoor, non-food Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 15 at 10:15am. There will be four divisions of age groups and the eggs will be filled with trinkets, not food, to keep it an allergy-free event. Every child who hunts for eggs will get to take a brand new book home.

Amy Wolfgang is to thank for the idea of the non-food Easter Egg Hunt. She wanted her son, “…To be able to participate and make good childhood memories.  The same ones I could as a child.” Amy’s idea was brought to a city council meeting where Val Meyerson, director of the library, took the idea further. Amy says, “Then the OddFellows got involved and are funding this event. I am overwhelmed and humbled by the outpouring of support from our community.”
