    Event Description:
Which is it?  “Ye olde antique” or just junk in the attic? Join local businessman and appraiser Joseph McGee to learn about what’s collectable and what’s not. Joseph, owner of Joseph’s World will be presenting information on what antiques and collectibles are saleable or worth holding on to and what doesn’t have a market right now.

Joseph McGee, Owner of Joseph’s World Art and Antiques, has been working in the field for over 30 years. Originally schooled in the fields ofBiology and Health Science at Creighton University (Omaha, NE) and Michigan State University, he eventually followed his love of discovering, owning and selling antiques. To further his career, Joseph has lived in London and traveled extensively, visiting 80 countries to gain experience in the field. He is nationally certified in making appraisals through the Certified Appraisers Guild of America, has participated in the Antiques Road Show on Mackinaw Island and is well known for his expertise in antique lamps and lighting fixtures.  $10 advance / $12 door.  Please register at www.petoskeylibrary.org  -->Event Calendar, or call 231.758.3100
