    Event Description:
    Enjoy wine and desserts prepared by the Executive Chef and Culinary Team of Independence Village. All proceeds of this event benefit the Telehealth Fund of McLaren Northern Michigan Foundation. The Telehealth program helps to carefully monitor heart failure and chronic pulmonary disease (COPD) patients from their homes. The Telehealth program closely tracks patients' symptoms, identifies issues early and adjusts treatments to prevent or reduce hospital readmission.

  • Safe Home Harvest Food and Supply Drive Safe Home Harvest Food and Supply Drive

    Women’s Resource Center of Northern Michigan’s (WRCNM) Harvest Food and Supply Drive supports survivors and their children seeking refuge from domestic abuse at the Safe Home.  Last year, the Safe Home provided families 3,000 nights of shelter, 9,000 meals and all daily needs at no cost.  Donations of non-perishable foods, household supplies, personal care items, grocery gift cards and financial contributions help make the Safe Home feel like ‘home’ for many families utilizing these vital services. 
     
    Harvest Food and Supply Drive donation locations: WRCNM main office at 423 Porter Street, Petoskey; Gold Mine Resale Shops, Petoskey; and WRCNM offices in Cheboygan, Gaylord and Mancelona.  The Safe Home Needs List is online at www.wrcnm.org.  For more information, call (231) 347-1572

    The 2017 Juried Fine Arts Exhibition of 2D and relief work will be presented in the Ermy B. & Gordon B. Bonfield Gallery from October 21 through January 6. The 2017 Juried Fine Arts Exhibition is open to all Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Ontario residents, and to all members of Crooked Tree Arts Center regardless of residency. Applicants must be 18 years or older, working in 2D and relief (that can be exhibited on walls).  Awards will be announced at the opening on Saturday, October 21, between the hours of 2-4 p.m. Click for more information.
