    Event Description:

    Learn from Dylan Taylor, Co-Executive Director, about the Women of Emmet County special "Lasting Legacies" exhibit at the Little Traverse Bay Historical Society.  You will learn how they shaped our history.   The luncheon is at Petoskey Bay View Country Club. Registration and networking begin at 11:30 am. The luncheon and presentation will begin at noon and end at 1 pm. Cost is $17 for CWIB members or $22 for not-yet-members.

    Lunch will be Fresh Fruit Salad, Baked Breads, Chicken Asian Salad and a flourless chocolate torte topped with raspberry sauce. 

    Registration closes at 5pm Friday, Sept. 22. Any cancellations after this time or no shows the day of the event will be invoiced.

  • Safe Home Harvest Food and Supply Drive Safe Home Harvest Food and Supply Drive

    Women’s Resource Center of Northern Michigan’s (WRCNM) Harvest Food and Supply Drive supports survivors and their children seeking refuge from domestic abuse at the Safe Home.  Last year, the Safe Home provided families 3,000 nights of shelter, 9,000 meals and all daily needs at no cost.  Donations of non-perishable foods, household supplies, personal care items, grocery gift cards and financial contributions help make the Safe Home feel like ‘home’ for many families utilizing these vital services.

    The 2017 Juried Fine Arts Exhibition of 2D and relief work will be presented in the Ermy B. & Gordon B. Bonfield Gallery from October 21 through January 6. The 2017 Juried Fine Arts Exhibition is open to all Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Ontario residents, and to all members of Crooked Tree Arts Center regardless of residency. Applicants must be 18 years or older, working in 2D and relief (that can be exhibited on walls).  Awards will be announced at the opening on Saturday, October 21, between the hours of 2-4 p.m. Click for more information.
