    Jennifer Carroll
Jen has a lifelong interest in helping others write, find personal connections, tell stories. Her calling is helping tell personal stories, synthesize memories and journals into memoirs. She marvels at learning the extraordinary moments of ordinary people and has helped write and compile personal legacies for close family members and friends.
Jen is a writing coach, editor and ghostwriter with authors for Traverse City-based publisher Mission Point Press. She most recently edited “We Are The Land, Ireland” with author/publisher Leslie Lee in March, 2019.
Jen has worked at three Michigan newspapers in reporting, writing, coaching and top editing/management roles including as managing editor of the Detroit News and Lansing State Journal. She also was a top digital content editor, coach and trainer for a wide network of newspapers and TV stations for Gannett Co., Inc.

    Jennifer Earls
Jenn, an entrepreneur & ghostwriter has been a writing since grade school. Her background in technology and marketing meant more copy-writing than storytelling, but writing is a natural form of expression for her.
After university, Jenn began a ghostwriting career that allowed her to support her family while working at home. She wrote for many industries, from cookbooks to product descriptions, wellness to law. Jenn was always magically surprised at how words seemed to flow when she was inspired by a topic.
Ghostwriting brought up many conversations about memoirs and "I have a story to tell..." scenarios, therefore, writing memoirs for others became a new service on her menu. Learning from the past is the part that Jenn enjoys most about helping to compile someone's memoir.
When she was writing prisoner stories, the heartfelt honesty always shocked her. Her passion is in inspiring others to be their best self, and to accept that person. "Writing a memoir always opens up doors you had nailed shut, but those moments can be healed in the writing process."
Jenn teaches workshops on how to tell your story, digitally, professionally and purposefully.
