    CONTEMPORARY AMERICANA: Boasting our American Food Traditions

    This series of classes will incorporate traditional ingredients, recipes techniques and homeland-norms brought to the Midwest, Pacific Northwest or Southwest. Recipes will celebrate what that region has to offer, which includes diverse ethnic backgrounds, vegetation and wildlife.

    Pacific Northwest and Beyond:

    • Sweet Onion and Balsamic Jam Canapes with Fustini's Black Currant Balsamic
    • Crevier's Pacific-Northwest Roasted-Tomato Mussels
    • Wild Mushroom Bread Pudding
    • Hawaiian Upside Down Pineapple Cake

    This class is $55 per person and payment is expected at time of registration as seats are limited.  Each attendee will receive a 10% discount on products purchased the day of the class.  You can register online below, or call the store (231) 758-3575.     An invitational exhibition, “Here and There” considers themes of place in time through three unique bodies of photographic work. Cameras have long been used to capture and preserve the world around us; the artists included in this exhibition photograph their surroundings in order to tell unique, personal, and unexpected narratives. Topics such as privacy, technology, beauty, and the environment are explored in this exhibition through images of varied landscapes.
