    Event Description:

    Fantastic food, fabulous cars, fine wine and beer will be served up at the Garden Party to be held on Sunday, August 13, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Harris Gardens at North Central Michigan College in Petoskey.

    This 300-guest wine and food gala will feature exceptional regional cuisine prepared by the area’s finest restaurants, paired with extraordinary wine and beer featured and distributed by Great Lakes Wine and Spirits. Guests are encouraged to wear their best garden party chic (including hats for the ladies). In addition, there will be a display of classic cars.

    Tickets for The Garden Party are $150 per person. Attire is traditional Garden Party chic. The hosts request that ladies wear hats. Guests must be 18 to attend. Tickets can be purchased HERE.  by visiting www.thegardenpartymichigan.org.

    Participating restaurants include Barrel Back, Beard’s Brewery, Boyne Highlands, Chandler’s, City Park Grill, Crow’s Nest Restaurant, Iron Horse Café, Maple River Resort, Petoskey Brewing, Stafford’s Hospitality and many more!

    The Garden Party is presented by Great Lakes Wine and Spirits, MPS Foundation, Charity Motors, MP Tool and Engineering, NetJets, Ted and Brenda Frey, Bauveric-Paisley Foundation, Melissa and Paul Keiswetter, Clark Construction, Meijer, Inc. plus many others.

    Crooked Tree Arts Center, in Petoskey, presents the 2018 Juried Photography Exhibition. This year’s juror is the accomplished photographer and founder of the annual Photostock Festival, Bill Schwab. The call is open to all residents of Michigan, Ohio, Ontario, Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin, and Crooked Tree Arts Center Members, regardless of residency. 

    Cash Awards: 1st PLACE: $500,  2nd PLACE: $250, 3rd PLACE: $100.  There will also be an additional ALTERNATIVE PROCESS AWARD: $250 for a work involving an alternative process such as platinum palladium, cyanotype, gum bichromate, or salt prints.
