    Our Lifelong Learning classes offer continuing education courses on a variety of topics taught by experts in their fields provided to the public at no charge.

    As a theologian and scholar, North Central Michigan College Professor Toby Jones is passionate about creating ties of understanding that move us beyond mere tolerance when it comes to the world’s great religions. Join him in the library’s lower level classroom as he covers three of those religions over the next three months. Seating will be on a first come, first serve basis.

  • Here and There - A Photography Exhibit Here and There - A Photography Exhibit

    An invitational exhibition, “Here and There” considers themes of place in time through three unique bodies of photographic work. Cameras have long been used to capture and preserve the world around us; the artists included in this exhibition photograph their surroundings in order to tell unique, personal, and unexpected narratives. Topics such as privacy, technology, beauty, and the environment are explored in this exhibition through images of varied landscapes.

    CTAC will present the 2019 Juried Photography Exhibition, January 19 though March 30, 2019. Juried by John Fergus-Jean, the call was open to all residents of Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin, and Crooked Tree Arts Center members, regardless of residency.
