Oleson's Dollar Drive for Safe Home
Oleson's Food Stores in Petoskey and Charlevoix are hosting a Dollar Drive to support domestic abuse survivors and their children staying at the Women's Resource Center of Northern Michigan's Safe Home. The Dollar Drive takes place Sunday, November 17 through Thanksgiving Day. Dollars raised help purchase much needed perishable items used on a daily basis such as milk, bread and eggs. The Oleson Foundation will match the first $1,000 in donations.
WRCNM staffs and operates the Safe Home 24-hours a day, 365 days a week. Over the years, Safe Home has provided thousands of women and their children with shelter, meals and all daily needs at no cost.
The Dollar Drive is taking place at the Petoskey Oleson's Food Store, 2000 US-31 North, and in Charlevoix at 112 Antrim Street.
