2019 Stafford's Top of Michigan Festival of Races
Top of Michigan Trails Council is proud to announce the fourth annual Top of Michigan Festival of Races (Marathon/Half Marathon/10K/5K). This exciting running event is held on the beautiful Little Traverse Wheelway, a paved trail that connects the communities of Charlevoix, Petoskey/Bay Harbor and Harbor Springs. The point-to-point marathon course, which follows Little Traverse Bay, is relatively flat and offers runners a chance to record a fast time. The course is certified by USA Track & Field. The Wheelway, the 10-foot wide paved bicycle trail which makes up a majority of the course, weaves through woods, along cliffs overlooking the bay, and through historic resort neighborhoods.
