    Harbor Springs Ski Team’s 12th Annual Movie & Pizza Night Fundraiser!  See the latest Warren Miller ski flick, "Line of Descent"!         Movie & Pizza Night is a fundraiser for the Harbor Springs Ski Teams.  It’s the traditional ‘kick off’ to ski season!  Warren Miller’s newest ski film, “Line of Descent” will be shown.   All you can eat pizza, salad, cookie, lemonade and iced tea. Silent and live auctions offer great items to bid on prior to the film.    The event is made possible with the support of Boyne Highlands, Harbor Springs. Tickets available from ski team members, at Kelbel Pharmacy in Harbor Springs, by email at Scoring@HSskiteam.com or at the door.

  • Safe Home Harvest Food and Supply Drive Safe Home Harvest Food and Supply Drive

    Women’s Resource Center of Northern Michigan’s (WRCNM) Harvest Food and Supply Drive supports survivors and their children seeking refuge from domestic abuse at the Safe Home.  Last year, the Safe Home provided families 3,000 nights of shelter, 9,000 meals and all daily needs at no cost.  Donations of non-perishable foods, household supplies, personal care items, grocery gift cards and financial contributions help make the Safe Home feel like ‘home’ for many families utilizing these vital services. 
     
    Harvest Food and Supply Drive donation locations: WRCNM main office at 423 Porter Street, Petoskey; Gold Mine Resale Shops, Petoskey; and WRCNM offices in Cheboygan, Gaylord and Mancelona.  The Safe Home Needs List is online at www.wrcnm.org.  For more information, call (231) 347-1572

    The 2017 Juried Fine Arts Exhibition of 2D and relief work will be presented in the Ermy B. & Gordon B. Bonfield Gallery from October 21 through January 6. The 2017 Juried Fine Arts Exhibition is open to all Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Ontario residents, and to all members of Crooked Tree Arts Center regardless of residency. Applicants must be 18 years or older, working in 2D and relief (that can be exhibited on walls).  Awards will be announced at the opening on Saturday, October 21, between the hours of 2-4 p.m. Click for more information.
