The build goes on(line!) Join us for the first ever online Women Build event with Northwest Michigan Habitat for Humanity and Lowe's! While we can't gather at a construction site, we can still swing our hammers and have some fun in support of Habitat's mission to bring affordable housing to our community! Registration is required - birdhouse kits are $35
Virtual Bird House Build
Birds are people too! Well, not quite. But like us, our feathered friends enjoy a nice home where they can cozy up, kick back, and let their bird hair down. So we've put together a virtual bird house build that will allow us to gather with our friends, learn some building skills, and create a beautiful birdhouse in time for spring!
The Virtual Birdhouse Build will take place on Thursday, March 11th at 6pm. Registration fee will include a birdhouse kit with everything you need to build your bird's dreamhouse: Pre-cut wood pieces, nails, and paint! The virtual platform will allow you to "sit" with your friends while you work on your build, and there will be prizes given away during the evening!
Birdhouse Kit Includes: pre-cut wood pieces for birdhouse, nails, and paint for decorating. You will have to provide your own hammer and any additional decorations you want for your birdhouse. Registration is $35 per birdhouse kit and is limited to 30 people. Residents in Petoskey and Harbor Springs can request that their kit be delivered prior to the event for a $5.00 fee.
