In the role of Universal Banker, the team member is responsible for cash handling and standard banking business. This includes new account opening, cross-selling products and maintenance of all related account documentation.
The ideal applicant will be an expert in cash handling, knowledge of bank products including checking, savings, IRAs, time deposits, commercial accounts, savings bonds, Internet banking, cash management, telephone banking and check ordering.
The Universal Banker has a clear understanding and ability to compile with bank regulations, compliance laws and bank security practices.
A minimum of two years banking experience with direct experience in the role of Universal Banker, is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to be proactive, problem solve and successfully work through difficult situations while remaining focused and detail oriented is important.
