DESCRIPTION:The 18th Air Service Task Force Airport After Hours is Thursday\, May 2 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Hoppies Landing at the Pellston Regional Airport featuring appetizers by Hoppies Landing and a cash bar. \n\n \n\nThis is a multi-chamber regional networking event promoted by chambers of commerce and visitor bureaus from St. Ignace\, Mackinac Island\, Mackinaw City\, Cheboygan\, Indian River\, Petoskey\, and Harbor Springs. The event helps to raise funds for the work of the Air Service Task Force.\n\n \n\nThe public is welcome to attend this regional networking event. The cost to attend is $10 cash per person. Because this is a fundraising event for the Air Service Task Force\, punch cards or comp passes from area chambers will not be accepted.  Attendees can enter for a chance to win a $500 Delta Airlines gift card\, as well as a $100 or a $50 Visa gift card. \n\n \n\nMany of the sponsors will be offering door prizes as well. \n\nAirport After Hours sponsors are:\n\nCheboygan Area Visitors Bureau\n\nCitizens National Bank\n\nMackinac Island Tourism Bureau \n\nMichigan Vacation Destinations\n\nPetoskey Area Visitors Bureau  \n\nShepler's Mackinac Island Ferry\n\nSunset Premier Shuttle\n\n \n\nThe Air Service Task Force's mission is to promote and support the Pellston Regional Airport to assure the highest level of commercial\, freight\, and general aviation service.  The task force has advocated on behalf of the airport for more than 30-years and is responsible for starting and maintaining the free parking program as well as other promotions.\n\n \n\nPaid admission is not necessary to be eligible to win the above prizes and a waiting area will be provided for those who wish to enter the drawing\, but not pay to attend the event.  Complete contest rules are available by calling the Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce at 231-347-4150.
