SUMMARY:CWIB Luncheon April 23\, 2025
DESCRIPTION:We are shifting gears. With all that our communities are facing right now\, we moved the Go Grants Fundraising Luncheon to September 23. We are shifting the theme for the April 23 Luncheon to: Rooted in Resilience: Pause and Prioritize Yourself\n\n\n\nThe Petoskey Chamber Connecting Women in Business Group invites all are women to attend this luncheon and take a breath\, take a break\, and take care of you.\n\n\n\nWe all know this storm took a toll on our homes and businesses but what's just as important to talk about is the toll it's taken on us as people. In this session\, we're going to explore how events like this sudden\, stressful\, and overwhelming can impact our thinking\, our mood\, and even our physical health. It's not always easy to recognize those effects in ourselves but understanding them is such an important step in taking care of our overall well-being.\n\n\n\nJoin us for a restorative conversation focused on self-care\, mental health\, and the unique impact of collective trauma. Our panel of local experts\, including Esther Brill CSW\, LMSW of Solis Psychotherapy LLC and Tiffany Lenau of Yoga Roots Petoskey\, will share grounding tools\, thoughtful practices\, and gentle ways to support your well-being through this ongoing recovery. If you are feeling overwhelmed\, this is your time to pause\, reconnect\, and remember: you are not alone.\n\n\n\nThe luncheon takes place at Grand Unity Event Center\, 1106 Charlevoix Avenue\, Petoskey. Registration and networking 11:30am-noon. Lunch at noon. Program to begin at 12:20 and wrap up at 1pm.\n\nCost is $35 for CWIB Members and $45 for all others. All are welcome to attend. Registration closes Friday\, April 18 at 5:00 p.m. Any cancellations or no-shows after this date will be charged. \n\n\n\nMenu:\n\nMediterranean Ceasar Salad - Tender Greens\, Greek Olives\, Artichoke Hearts\, Tomatoes\, Red Onion\, & Feta Cheese\n\nBreast of Chicken Piccata - Sauteed Breast of Chicken\, With Lemon\, White Wine\, Caper\, & Parsley Sauce\n\nMajestic Golden Fruit Rice Medley Steamed in Court Boullion\n\nRoasted Garden Vegetables with Extra Virgin Olive Oil & Sea Salt\n\nArtisan Bread & Butter\n\n\n\nProgram sponsor is The Outlaw Josie Studio.\n\nOur marquee sponsor for this season is PNC Bank\, and our exclusive radio sponsor is Lite 96.
