DESCRIPTION:"Women at the Helm"   a panel discussion with leaders of area non-profits. Joining us are: Cindy McSurely\, Blissfest Music Organization\; Carrie Klingelsmith\, The Manna Food Project and Josephine Roberts\, Walloon Lake Association and Conservancy.\n\n \n\nGet ready for some great information.  We will talk about organizational change and courage to implement new programs/policies either as a result of the pandemic or as a response to the changing demographics in our area. We will learn how our area organizations are filling the gaps between the for-profit sector and government agencies. We will also discuss the transferable skills and benefits of working in the nonprofit sector.\n\n\n\nThe luncheon will be at the Library Conference Center of North Central Michigan College\, 1515 Howard Street\, Petoskey. Cost is $30 for CWIB members and $35 for all others. Registration and networking from 11:30-noon. Lunch served at noon. Program begins 12:20. Wrap up at 1pm. Registration closes Friday\, June 24 at 5pm. \n\n\n\nThe lunch will be Baked Chicken in a creamy mushroom sauce\, brown rice\, vegetable medley\, house salad and dessert.\n\n \n\nWe thank Tip of the Mitt SCORE for being a sponsor of this luncheon.
