\nAll schools within the Charlevoix-Emmet Intermediate School District offer a variety of experiences that help students explore careers and prepare for future education and the world of work. 18 different Career and Technical Education courses are offered across all 11 public school districts in the ISD. Students from any high school can attend any career tech program at any district.

\nCareer &\; Technical Education is an essential component of the total educational system\, and it is also critical to our workforce development. Char-Em ISD'\;s Career Tech team continues to work with industry leaders across the region and the state to develop programs that meet workforce demands. You will hear about new innovative CTE programs\, how Char-Em is helping with workforce shortages\, and learn about how to work with Char-Em in providing input on the labor needs in our region. \;

\nVirtual networking will take place from 11:30am - noon\, just like when we were able to meet in person. The presentation will begin at noon and end around 12:30pm. Networking will resume and take place until 1pm. Cost is $20 for Connecting Women in Business members and $25 for all others. Your registration will include a $10 Mim'\;s Mediterranean Grill Gift card which will be mailed to you after the event.
