DESCRIPTION:Housing shortages exist at all price points and have long since reached a CRISIS in Emmet County. Our County's hospital\, businesses\, building trades\, and organizations are continuing to face severe workforce shortages. One of the primary reasons is that new workers coming to our communities have no place to live and current workers are unable to stay. \n\n\n\nIn this Town Hall style event in collaboration with the Little Traverse Bay Housing Partnership and Housing North\, you will learn about the updated total estimated housing demand\, challenges facing our area and opportunities for housing solutions locally and at a state level\, as well as an update current projects in our area to help offset demand.\n\n\n\nA panel of speakers deeply involved in the Housing Crisis will answer questions and provide updates and information. In addition\, the LLT Class of 2023 will share the stories of community members facing housing challenges. \n\nWe thank Comfort Keepers  for being the Hot Topics Sponsor again for 2023.
