Penny's Chimney at sunset. Bring a lawn chair to the park next to the Chamber of Commerce building across from Penney's in downtown Petoskey. We'll start gathering there around 8:45 to 9:00 p.m. The first swifts typically enter the chimney at 9:15 - 9:30 p.m. And the show is over by 10:00 p.m. \n\n\n\nYou are invited to an informal dutch-treat dinner downstairs at the Perry Hotel (Noggin Room Pub) around 7:15 p.m. followed by Kilwin's ice cream afterward (because watching Chimney Swifts burns lots many calories).\n\n\n\nThis event is very low-key and free form. If you want to drop in to watch the swifts drop into their roost\, just come on by.
