SUMMARY:Rotary 74th Annual Spaghetti Dinner
DESCRIPTION:FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Rotary Club of Petoskey Andrea Coronado\, President (231) 881-2310 acoronado@wrcnm.org 74th Annual Petoskey Rotary Spaghetti Dinner Returns April 30 Petoskey\, MI For 74 years\, the Petoskey Rotary Spaghetti Dinner has brought neighbors together over a simple meal and on Thursday\, April 30 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.\, that tradition continues at Petoskey High School. What began decades ago as a modest community gathering has grown into one of Petoskey's most beloved annual events\, welcoming more than 500 guests each year. Families\, friends\, and neighbors fill the cafeteria for an evening that feels unmistakably local: shared tables\, familiar faces\, and a meal prepared with care. Guests can enjoy an all-you-can-eat dinner featuring pasta with meat or meatless sauce\, fresh rolls\, coleslaw\, dessert\, and a beverage. Tickets are $10\, with free admission for children under five\, and are available from any Rotarian or at the door. Both dine-in and takeout options are available. Those who dine in will also enjoy live performances by the Petoskey High School Jazz Band and Madrigals\, adding to the lively\, welcoming atmosphere. Dine-in guests are automatically entered into the event's "Dine-In to Win" drawing\, with several gift baskets awarded throughout the evening at no additional cost. Proceeds from the event support the Rotary Club of Petoskey's ongoing efforts to fund local nonprofit organizations and community initiatives. "This dinner has been around longer than most of us\, and there's a reason for that\," said Drew Smith\, Spaghetti Dinner Committee Chair and General Manager of Hotel Perry. "It's simple\, it's fun\, and it brings people together. It's one of those nights where you always run into someone you know. We're proud at Hotel Perry to be part of a tradition like this and to help keep it going after all these years." The Rotary Club extends special thanks to its sponsors\, whose support makes the event possible. Hotel Perry serves as a lead sponsor and generously donates and prepares all of the food for the dinner. Additional major sponsors include AdvisaCare\, Brown Motors Petoskey\, Northmen Den\, and Sharon Schappacher. Dave Kring\, serving as this year's Green Sponsor\, and Mitchel Graphics also provide important support\, helping ensure the event runs smoothly while reducing its environmental impact through compostable and recyclable materials. Community members are encouraged to attend\, bring family and friends\, and take part in a tradition that has helped define Petoskey for more than seven decades. For more information\, please contact the Rotary Club of Petoskey or visit their Facebook page.
