SUMMARY:Summer 2024 GO Grants for Girls
DESCRIPTION:Connecting Women in Business (CWIB)\, a Petoskey Chamber group\, announces the launch of its Summer 2024 GO Grants for Girls\n\n\n\nGo Grants provide small grants up to $600 to girls in grades 5 to 10 in Emmet and Charlevoix counties that allow the applicant to pursue a special interest\, to gain or improve a skill\, to participate in an outdoor experience and more. We encourage applications that will be challenging to the applicant. \n\n\n\nGirls will be required to work with an adult mentor   a relative outside of the immediate family\, teacher\, youth pastor\, social worker\, etc.   who will help them fill out and submit the application\, and will work with the girl to help her achieve her dream.  \n\n\n\nIn 2023\, 11 girls received Go Grants of over $5500. In 2022\, 13 girls received Go Grants of nearly $5800. Since 2010\, we have given over 228 girls $86\,000 in GO Grants. Get full details and applications here.
