All proceeds benefit research efforts toward a cure and ongoing treatment, public education programs, care & support services (like our 24/7 helpline 1-800-272-3900 and website alz.org) and advocacy initiatives advanced by the Michigan Chapter. 25 Walks will take place in Michigan between Sept. 10 and Oct. 29. Over 190,000 Michiganders have Alzheimer's or another form of Dementia, with approximately 466,000 persons statewide providing unpaid caregiving services to their loved ones.
