"Art for Conservation, Reflections of Nature"
Sarah Tule is an area artist with an eye for nature. She will be showing her work at the Pellston Airport’s second-floor observation deck on Thursday, August 1st from 3 pm to 8 pm. The show is free and open to the public, and a portion of proceeds from all sales will be donated to Mackinac Straits Raptor Watch. Come out and support MSRW! Sarah will display a wide range of her work along with a who’s who of area artists featuring Watercolor cards and prints, Oil Paintings, Ceramics, Photography, Glass, Wood Carvings in driftwood and birchbark, and a new local Nature Book by Lynn Fraze! Wood carving artists Charlie Page and Jerry Prior will also be featured, displaying their carvings of raptors.
The show, titled “Art for Conservation – Reflections of Nature” is a collaboration between Sarah and MSRW to raise awareness of the beautiful raptors living among us. Each spring and fall, thousands of hawks, eagles, falcons, and owls migrate over the Straits of Mackinac and MSRW keeps track of them all in order to better understand migratory trends and population dynamics."Art for Conservation, Reflections of...Date and Time
