Balloons Over Bay Harbor

The Balloons Over Bay Harbor team is proud to present and host the 6^th Annual Balloons Over Bay Harbor, taking to the skies September 12 -13, 2025. This is the most uplifting event of the fall season in northern Michigan, with thousands of spectators that come to witness the balloon launches and night glows, as well as an artisan market, food trucks and family fun activities held throughout the weekend, including the Bay Harbor Bow Wow 5K Walk + Dog Show Saturday morning benefitting The Bissell Pet Foundation.

Friday, September 12:

• Artisan Market + Food Trucks OPEN:  4pm - 8pm
• Balloon Launch #1 from Marina Lawns:  5:30pm
• Night Glow on Marina Lawns:  8:00pm

• Morning Balloon Launch #2 @ 7:30am
• Bay Harbor Bow Wow Fundraiser: 5K Dog Walk @ 10am | Dog Show @ 11am
• Artisan Market + Food Trucks OPEN:  10AM - 5PM
• Tethered Balloon Rides on North Marina Lawn: 10AM - 4PM ($25/adult - $15/kids 13 & under)
• Family Fun Activities:  Face Painting, Let's Paint Balloons with Daniel Duncan, Karen & Darrin Author & Illustrator Interactive Children's Activities
• Pilot Autographs / Photos for Kids:  4pm - 5pm on Marina Lawns
• Balloon Launch #3 from Marina Lawns:  5:30pm
• Night Glow on Marina Lawns: 8:00pm

• "Bonus" Morning Balloon Launch @ 7:30am
