    Event Description:

    This is the annual Connecting Women in Business GO GRANTS Fundraiser Luncheon that features an amazing silent auction.  The money raised by the silent auction goes directly to Go Grants. 

    Go Grants are an important element of the Connecting Women in Business Group. Grants provide small grants to girls in grades 6 to 10 in the Char-Em ISD service area and reach out to young girls in the area who have an idea and a passion to try something new. Grants range up to $500.  Since 2010, 121 girls have received almost $44,000 in GO Grants.

    The Cost to attend is $35. $17 of the ticket price goes directly to the grants program as well as proceeds from the silent auction and sponsorships.

    Your business can support the silent auction and the Go Grants by making a silent auction donation.
    Individuals can to support this event by being part of the GO GRANTS wine brigade – drop off a bottle of wine at the chamber office and we will put it into a basket with other donated wines to turn into a wonderful silent auction item.
    Consider being a sponsor for this luncheon. It is a great way to promote your business and all sponsorship dollars go directly to support the GO Grants.  Sponsors so far include: Trillium Salon & Spa and Grand Traverse Ophthalmology Clinic.

    The 2017 Juried Fine Arts Exhibition of 2D and relief work will be presented in the Ermy B. & Gordon B. Bonfield Gallery from October 21 through January 6. The 2017 Juried Fine Arts Exhibition is open to all Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Ontario residents, and to all members of Crooked Tree Arts Center regardless of residency. Applicants must be 18 years or older, working in 2D and relief (that can be exhibited on walls).  Awards will be announced at the opening on Saturday, October 21, between the hours of 2-4 p.m. Click for more information.

    The alumnae of the CTAC Artist in Residence Program in Good Hart will participate in the group exhibition Fresh AIR. The exhibit will include recent works by Amanda Boyd, Lindsey Dunnagan,
