Fineout Creek Stream Monitoring

Location

Join WLAC staff and volunteers for seasonal monitoring of Fineout Creek and learn how stream conditions can affect the health of Walloon Lake. Participants will help collect information about stream conditions and water quality while gaining hands-on experience with WLAC’s ongoing watershed monitoring efforts. A limited number of waders will be available for volunteers to use. This monitoring opportunity is free and open to the public.

Meet on the shoulder of M-75 at the Cedar Valley Preserve (just south of Fineout Creek crossing/South Shore Dr.)
