If you have salaried employees between $23,000 and $47,476, you need to be aware that the Department of Labor is making changes to overtime regulations. The changes will affect the majority of the businesses in the area. Businesses will see these new regulations being in effect on December 1, 2016.
The new rule contains very significant revisions to the exemption rules and will affect millions of employees currently classified as exempt. These employees will become eligible for overtime, significantly impacting many employers budgets.
