    Event Description:
It’s a 14-year tradition, but it’s all new!  The Petoskey Chamber’s 2019 State of the Community Luncheon will feature a new, fast-paced review of the region.  Gone is the format of four speakers, and IN is a multi-media conversation with several community leaders discussing key issues in our community.  You’ll leave the event knowing what’s new, what’s coming, what’s concerning, and what should be celebrated.

The annual State of the Community Luncheon will be held Fri. February 1 in Ovation Hall at the Odawa Casino.  The cost per person will remain at $30/person or a table of eight for $240.  The Luncheon will again be sponsored by Chase and by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.  Reserve your seats now for what will certainly be an exciting new way to learn about the state of our community.

You must register in advance for this event. There are no tickets available at the door.
Registration closes on 1/28/19 at 5:00 p.m. Any cancellations after 1/29/31 will be non-refundable.

    Women's Resource Center Locations
    Nov. 1 - Dec. 31

Women's Resource Center of Northern Michigan's (WRCNM) Harvest Food and Supply drive supports survivors and their children seeking refuge from domestic abuse at the Safe Home.  Last year, the Safe Home provided families 3,000 nights of shelter, 9,000 meals and all daily needs at no cost.  Donations of non-perishable foods, household supplies, personal care items, grocery gift cards and financial contributions help make the Safe Home feel like ‘home’ for many families utilizing these vital services.

Harvest Food and Supply Drive donation locations: WRCNM main office at 423 Porter Street, Petoskey; Gold Mine Resale Shops, Petoskey; and WRCNM offices in Cheboygan, Gaylord and Mancelona.  The Safe Home Needs List is online at wrcnm.org.  For more information, call (231) 347-1572.
