About Us
St. Francis Xavier Parish in Petoskey is a historic Catholic church known for its architectural beauty and deep community roots dating back to the late 1800s. The parish also oversees the historic St. Francis Solanus Mission (built 1860), one of the oldest buildings in the area. Through outreach ministries including Brother Dan’s Food Pantry and St. Francis Catholic School, the parish provides essential resources, education, and support to families across Emmet County, continuing a long tradition of service, compassion, and community connection.

Since joining the parish in 2016, she has supported its financial stewardship and daily operations, helping sustain its mission and outreach efforts.
Lynn’s career includes over 20 years managing Great Lakes Tile and Marble, LLC, along with bookkeeping and accounting roles in hospitality and small business settings. She holds an MBA from the University of Detroit Mercy and a BS from Central Michigan University.
A former St. Francis Xavier School parent and volunteer, Lynn brings a personal commitment to the parish community, supporting its mission with both professional expertise and a spirit of service.

A non-denominational outreach of St. Francis Xavier Parish, the Pantry supports individuals and families across Emmet County and surrounding areas.
Rich leads with compassion and respect, embracing the mission to serve as “God’s hands” in feeding the hungry. He is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment where guests are treated with dignity and care. At Brother Dan’s, those in need are welcomed as guests—offered not only food, but conversation, understanding, and a sense of belonging.
Through his leadership, the Pantry continues to be both a vital food resource and a place of connection and community support.

During her tenure, Barb helped strengthen the Pantry’s mission to serve as “God’s hands” in feeding the hungry while fostering a welcoming, respectful environment for all guests. Her leadership emphasized dignity and connection, ensuring that each person who walked through the doors was treated with care and kindness.
Barb’s retirement was announced in the parish bulletin on December 28, 2025, marking the close of a meaningful chapter of service and lasting impact on the community. She currently is serving on the Board of Directors.
