Our Historic Hotel and Restaurant (the 1911) is located in the National Historic Landmark Community of Bay View. Just 1 block from the Little Traverse Bay and 1.3 miles from downtown Victorian Gaslight shopping district, its centrally located to all kinds of cultural, scenic, architectural attractions. Many wineries and breweries can be enjoyed, some open year round. Summer is our peak season and Bay View campus has musical programs open to the public, a beautiful beach, and the Little Traverse Wheelway takes pedestrians and bicyclists downtown to the marina. Rooms are open year round (daily June through Labor Day) and Tuesday through Saturday September through May. Dining at 1911 is open Tuesday through Saturday mid-June through Labor Day and Wednesday through Saturday Sept/Oct. Hours for November are weekends through May. (check website for details as may vary). Reservation on the Terrace are recommended. In winter the views remain spectacular and propane heaters are added with plexiglass panels that one can see clearly the views of the bay. Breakfast is included with all stays and rooms have private baths, wifi, cable TV, ac and housekeeping (depending on area guidelines).
