    Event Description:

    Register for Connecting Women in Business luncheon on Tuesday, November 20 featuring Five Emmet County Entrepreneurial Women Under 40!!

    This luncheon will feature a panel discussion from five women who have started their own businesses in Emmet County.

    The luncheon is in the Arlington Room at the Inn at Bay Harbor. Registration and networking begin at 11:30 a.m. The luncheon and presentation will begin at noon and end at 1 p.m. Cost is $18 for CWIB members or $25 for not-yet-members. Register online and prepay for a chance to win a free lunch. Registration closes Friday, Nov. 16 at 5pm. Any cancellations or no-shows after this time will be charged.

     

    Lunch will be a Risotto Dish with Chicken and Asparagus and dessert.  If you require a vegan/vegetarian/gluten free option, please note that when you register.

    An invitational exhibition, “Here and There” considers themes of place in time through three unique bodies of photographic work. Cameras have long been used to capture and preserve the world around us; the artists included in this exhibition photograph their surroundings in order to tell unique, personal, and unexpected narratives. Topics such as privacy, technology, beauty, and the environment are explored in this exhibition through images of varied landscapes.

    CTAC will present the 2019 Juried Photography Exhibition, January 19 though March 30, 2019. Juried by John Fergus-Jean, the call was open to all residents of Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin, and Crooked Tree Arts Center members, regardless of residency.
