Young Hemingway & His Enduring Eden
Don't miss this public screening of Starbright Media's documentary "Young Hemingway & His Enduring Eden" on January 26th at 7:30 PM sponsored by the Petoskey Public Library at the Carnegie Building in Petoskey.
The documentary features the commentary of some of the country’s top Hemingway scholars and writers, many of whom were interviewed in Petoskey, Bay View, Horton Bay, and at Windemere, the Hemingway family cottage on Walloon Lake. Production and Editing of the documentary has taken place locally over the past five years. Starbright Media is based in downtown Petoskey and it is producing the program in association with Pierpont Productions of Harbor Springs
Writer-Producer George Colburn claims that “this documentary will give northern Michigan its rightful – and prominent - place in the story of Ernest Hemingway life and literature.” To illustrate this point, the program documents the involvement of many local residents “who keep alive the Hemingway spirit here,” Colburn added.
