A Stroll Down Main Street - Harbor Springs History Talk
Join Curator Beth Wemigwase for a fascinating virtual journey through the heart of downtown Harbor Springs. In this online Zoom presentation, Beth will take viewers on a stroll down Main Street, exploring how the downtown area has changed over the years.
Along the way, participants will learn the stories behind some of Harbor Springs’ most recognizable buildings and businesses. Highlights will include the Harbor Springs Library, First Community Bank, and the Emmet County Courthouse (now the Harbor Springs History Museum), as well as beloved local establishments such as City Grocery, Hovey’s Pharmacy, Erwin’s, Rosenthal’s, Juilleret's and more.
Through historic photos and engaging storytelling, this presentation will reveal how downtown Harbor Springs evolved while remaining a vibrant center for our community.
