Learn more about Harbor Springs Festival of the Book from Executive Director Amy Gillard. Harbor Springs Festival of the Book takes place in the fall in Harbor Springs, it is a three-day celebration of readers, writers, books, and the literary craft. Now viewed as the signature event for Harbor Springs, the Festival attracts over 1,300 attendees and has an economic impact is over one million dollars.
It is the only annual multi-day, multi-genre book festival in Michigan and it features up to 50 nationally published authors and illustrators in sessions including eight genres: fiction, nonfiction, mystery/thriller, poetry, cookbook, picture book/early reader, middle grade, and young adult.
You will also learn about Festival of the Book’s year-round programming including Authors in Schools, Books for Schools, and One Bay One Book Community Read Events. Their mission is: To inspire readers of all ages and to celebrate the culture of books in a beautiful part of the world.
Amy Gillard is the Executive Director for the Harbor Springs Festival of the Book. She has been in that role since 2017. She manages and directs all year-round operations & programming. She also manages and develops all aspects of the festival's online presence, communication materials and advertising.
The Luncheon takes place at Stafford’s Bay View Inn. Registration and networking take place from 11:30 a.m. to noon. The lunch will be served at noon. The program will begin at 12:25 and the event will conclude at 1:00 p.m.
Lunch will be a Caesar Salad with grilled marinated chicken – romaine lettuce, croutons, shaved parmesan and Stafford’s creamy Caesar dressing. Please make a note in your registration if you require the gluten free or vegetarian option – which is a Burrata Caprese salad – Burrata cheese, toasted cashews, green crisp sweet lettuce, tomato and honey balsamic dressing.
Cost is $35 for CWIB members and $45 for all others. PLEASE NOTE - Registration closes Thursday, May 23 at 5pm. Any cancellations or no-shows after this time will be charged.

Fees/Admission
Cost is $35 for CWIB members and $45 for all others. Registration closes Thursday, Feb. 22 at 5pm. Any cancellations or no-shows after this time will be charged as our final counts will be turned in to the host.
