Hops & Housing: A Community Conversation on Housing Solutions in northern Michigan

The Leadership Litte Traverse Class of 2026 invites you to join them for Hops & Housing: A Community Conversation on Housing Solutions in Northern Michigan on Wednesday, May 6 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Elder Piper Beer & Cider.
 
For their community service project, the class chose to support InvestMitt Cooperative, a nonprofit organization in northern Michigan whose mission is to support, finance, and collectively acquire real estate and other assets in northern Michigan to invest in a more prosperous future. They believe in keeping housing locally-owned and that everyone - no matter their income - deserves a say in how their community grows, a fair opportunity to invest in its future, and access to housing they can afford. 
 
Come to Elder Piper to learn more about their project and how you can help this organization achieve their goal and have a fabulous beer or cider (why not both) from Elder Piper and some delicious food from Dos Locals Tacos.
