Part-time Executive Director

Big Water Creative Arts (BWCA), a nonprofit expanding access to music education in Northern Michigan, is hiring a part-time Executive Director for the 2025–26 school year. This newly funded role will support BWCA’s continued growth and strengthen its day-to-day operations.

The Executive Director will manage programs, coordinate with instructors and partners, lead fundraising efforts, and serve as the organization’s key liaison. Experience in nonprofit administration is a plus, but not required—we value passion, initiative, and a commitment to making a positive community impact.

While BWCA’s mission is rooted in “Music for Everyone,” this is an administrative position—ideal for someone who thrives behind the scenes and wants to lead a small, mission-driven nonprofit.
