St. Francis Xavier Parish in Petoskey is seeking a Cemetery Sexton. Responsibilities include: coordinating burials, assisting families and funeral directors, overseeing the appearance and up keep of the grounds, ensuring that all regulations and procedures are followed with dignity and respect. The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, compassionate, and able to work independently while interacting respectfully with grieving families. This position requires a commitment to the Church’s ministry of caring for the deceased and supporting families during times of loss.
