CNC Operator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate CNC equipment as necessary to produce the required number of conforming parts in a timely manner
according to process documentation. This will include operating multiple pieces of CNC equipment simultaneously.
- The ability to correctly setup jobs in assigned equipment in a timely manner is a plus but not required.
- Perform first piece, in-process and last piece inspection using micrometers, calipers, comparators, various gauges
and CMM equipment according to process documentation.
- Perform data collection and communication tasks as directed in our eOVL.
- Perform operator maintenance (TPM).
- Diagnose and correct equipment or tool issues.
- Perform deburr or rework of work in-process.
- Make recommendations to optimize and improve assigned processes.
- Maintain workstation to 5S standards.
- Perform all work according to Company safety standards.

Requirements
- Ability to use common measuring equipment, optical comparators, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
- Collaboration and communication skills related to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Experience with reading blueprints to GD&T standards.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to perform basic shop math functions.
- Ability to read and write.
- Eligibility to work with sensitive controlled data and materials according to customer policies and practices.
- Must be able to regularly lift up to 10 pounds. Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time in manufacturing environment. Twist, kneel, bend.
