Family Support Specialist (Part-Time)

Job description

In your position as a Family Support worker for Child and Family Services of Northwestern Michigan, you will have a flexible, part time, work schedule that allows you to work with a variety of families including foster families, children, and parents, to support healthy interactions with the goal of strengthening and reunifying families.

This will include transporting children to services, supervising parenting time, and writing progress reports.

Skills
- Proficient verbal and writing skills
- Experience working with children in diverse settings
- Strong listening skills
- Ability to handle crisis situations with composure and efficiency
- Excellent conflict management skills

-Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the office.

-Clean driving record needed to transport children to appointments and visits in agency vehicles.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.35 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
