The Petoskey Youth Soccer Association (PYSA) seeks an Operations Coordinator that serves as the primary administrative contact for the club, overseeing player registration, maintaining membership records, and providing exceptional customer service to players, families, coaches, and volunteers. This position is responsible for managing club communications, registration systems, and administrative operations to ensure an organized and efficient experience for all members.
Main Duties and Responsibilities- Manage all player registrations for recreational and premier programs.
- Maintain accurate player, coach, and team records within club registration systems.
- Verify player eligibility and ensure all required documentation is completed and submitted.
- Process registrations, transfers, roster updates, and player releases.
- Manage all player registrations for camps and auxiliary training opportunities.
- Work in QuickBooks to process deposits; pay vendors; reconcile
- Record and track registration revenue, sponsorship revenue, donations, and tournament income.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for member inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Maintain accurate databases, records, and electronic filing systems.
- Assist with scheduling meetings, events, tryouts, and registration periods.
- Ensure compliance with league, state association, and club registration requirements.
- Serve as a positive representative of PYSA and its mission.
Preferred Skills- Knowledge of youth soccer organizations, leagues, and registration process.
- Experience with player registration platforms such as GotSport, Sprocket Sports, or similar systems.
- Experience with QuickBooks.
- Valid Driver License; travel to and from PYSA will be required as needed
- Must pass a background check
- Must maintain Safe Sport Certification
- Approximately 35 hours/week during peak registration periods. During fall and spring seasons 20 hours/week
- This is a remote position; this position has the flexibility to manage their own hours, with the expectation that work is completed each day and deadlines are met; weekends will be required for events such as tryouts

PYSA supports recreational, select, and premier soccer opportunities in Petoskey and training at the best natural grass fields in the Midwest.
