About Us

Plunkett Cooney's Petoskey office has a long tradition of providing quality legal services throughout Northern Michigan. Established in 1988, the office is staffed by four attorneys and their support staff.

The diverse backgrounds and experience of the attorneys allow the Petoskey office to provide its clients with a wide range of legal services which are divided into two principle areas: general practice and litigation. The general practice consists of matters such as estate planning, banking, real estate transactions, condominium development, business and corporate law. The litigation area includes (but is not limited to) medical malpractice, products liability, premises liability, automobile and transportation, employment, labor, workers’ compensation and other areas of professional liability.

Plunkett Cooney's Northern Michigan attorneys also have significant experience and expertise in handling issues for municipalities, including zoning, condemnation, bonding, labor relations and employment matters.
