The Danser Professional Building

About Us

George W. Danser built the Danser Professional Building at the corner of Petoskey and State Streets for his wholesale grocery business, known as the Danser & Co. The Danser & Co. operated from the building from 1945 until 1969. The building is pentagon shaped to afford direct access to Petoskey’s rail tracks for receiving food shipments. Beginning in 1999, the building was subdivided and remodeled for professional offices in response to the growth of Petoskey’s downtown business district south along Petoskey’s rail corridor.
