Part-Time, Year Round Store Associate Lead - Pay Range $16 per hour, plus tips
POSITION OVERVIEW
Ensures company standards are met in the absence of the owners and ensures team members comply with policies and procedures. Assist the Owners in the development and compliance with policies and procedures. Upholds and executes the vision and mission of both Snickerdoodlz, LLC and assists others in doing the same.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Shifts will require working at multiple locations including traveling for special events.

Weekend shifts are required with days off during the week. Some 10-hour shifts are required.

Cash Handling (drawer balancing, bank deposits, etc.), accountable for funds
-
Assisting with social media and advertising, as needed
-
Coordinate and communicate individual Team Member duties throughout shift
-
Must be able to work ALONE and LEAD a staff during summer months
-
Duties including opening and closing procedures, inventory, dishwashing, custodial duties, food prep, frozen yogurt/ice cream machine maintenance and cleaning

Assist in training, coaching and development of Team Members
-
Ensures Team Members adhere to meal and break periods
-
Taste items to ensure quality standards are met and to become familiar with products
-
Develop specials and suggested combinations of products
-
Is the “role-model” for outstanding customer service and overall TM standards
-
Ensures cleanliness, health and safety standards are maintained at all times

Other job-related activities as requested by Owners
CORE COMPETENCIES

Must be 18 years of age.
-
1 year previous food service experience preferred.
-
Prior experience as cashier, prep, kitchen, counter or service duties preferred

Ability to maintain a fast pace

Ability to problem solve quickly and effectively

Effective customer service skills delivered with a friendly disposition

Basic management skills including ability to be responsible and problem solve

Must be able to work alone during off seasonal months

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing in English

Ability to lead others in always upholding company standards

Outstanding attendance is expected and required
OTHER REQUIREMENTS (LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS)

May be required to successfully complete ServSafe Food Handler training within 90 days of hire (Snickerdoodlz will pay for training)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Continuous (67-100%)
Walking, standing, hand use, cash register.
Frequent (34-66%)
Bending, neck flexion, twisting and lifting up to 25 lbs from shoulder to shoulder, carrying up to 25-40 lbs up to 50 ft, pushing and pulling, firm grasping, reach over shoulder.
Occasional (11-33%)
Squatting, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs from floor to waist. May be exposed to wind, weather when servicing outside.
Seldom (1-10%)
Sitting, climbing, and lifting up to 25 lbs from floor to over-head, pushing/pulling cart up to 100 lbs up to 300 feet.
