    We're seeking a detail-oriented Mold Fabrication Designer as part of the operational development team with the goal of crafting exceptional polyurethane molds for our concrete forming systems. You'll be at the forefront of product design in this hands-on position that will focus on taking products through the trial and testing process to a finished state that is ready for production. Our current craftsmen have made an impact on global infrastructure, where their work can be seen in 25 countries on 6 continents.

    Primary Responsibilities - As the Mold Designer you will be responsible for crafting and assembling textured molds, inserts, and components of our precast forming systems. You will generally work from plans, diagrams, and specifications to perform a group of related and unrelated operations to manufacture a completed product or component. You'll be working daily with our engineers, and collaborate with the operations and R&D teams by performing the following:
    • Build products, forms, and molds for testing and development
    • Craft textures and shapes using various materials including natural stone 
    • Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions
    • Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company procedures
    • Learn and understand the customers' needs and wants
    • Solve problems by analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solutions
    • Working with various machinery including cranes, forklifts, and power tools 
    • Build product displays to gain insight for product functionality and aesthetics characteristics
    You'll be successful in this role if you
    • Have carpentry experience, including finish type work requiring a high level of accuracy
    • Experience fabricating, crafting and working with raw materials such as concrete, rock, wood, metal, polyurethane, or plastic
    • Basic understanding or exposure to construction or hardscape environments
    • Understanding and ability to read and build off of blueprints and sketches
    Requirements include being on your feet for long periods and being able to lift objects in excess of 75 lbs.
