Hotel Laundry Attendant

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Laundry Attendant to join our hotel team. This position is responsible for cleaning, drying, folding, and organizing hotel linens while maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the laundry area. The Laundry Attendant plays an important role in ensuring guests receive clean and properly maintained linens and towels.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, bedding, and uniforms.
• Operate laundry equipment including washers, dryers, and folding machines safely and efficiently.
• Sort laundry by color, fabric, and level of soiling.
• Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear and report any issues to management.
• Maintain proper inventory levels of linens and laundry supplies.
• Keep laundry room and work areas clean, organized, and sanitary.
• Follow all hotel safety procedures and chemical handling guidelines.
• Assist housekeeping department with linen deliveries when needed.
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness of storage areas.
• Respond promptly to management requests and operational needs.

Qualifications:

• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, bend, and move around for extended periods of time.

Schedule:

• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Full-time and part-time positions may be available.
